Job: All-round Fashion Designer Womenswear (full-time 40 hours)

On July 1, 2017, Olivia & Kate opened its boutique doors for the first time in Haarlem's nicest street. Due to great success, our webshop followed within 3 months, www.olivia-kate.nl. Our webshop is now growing into one of the fastest growing webshops in the Netherlands. Do you want to grow with this success? Then read on!

To keep up with our rapid growth, we are looking for a creative addition to our team. That is why we are immediately looking for a versatile and enthusiastic: All-round Fashion Designer Womenswear.
Do you have at least 1 year of experience as a designer in the fashion or retail world? And are you a creative, flexible team player who can handle pressure well? Then we would really like to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Together with the team you work on designing and developing the latest collections, according to the set goals.
  • You create technical drawings for production using Outlook, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • You draw up size charts and check them carefully.
  • Creating mood boards, color cards, collection overviews and Lookbooks.
  •  You search for and select the most beautiful fabrics and materials.
  • You keep an eye on the market through fairs, shopping trips and professional literature.

Photo shoots? Yes please!

  • You help with the preparations and support of photo shoots.

Must have:

  • You have completed a HBO education in fashion.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar position within women's fashion.
  • You are always aware of the latest trends and innovation.

Skills:

  • You have a good knowledge of fabrics, washes and details.
  • Knowledge of size charts and fits is a must.
  • You enjoy traveling to production countries.
  • You speak and write both Dutch and English fluently.
  • You are independent, precise and have a great sense of responsibility.
  • Flexible and always ready for action!
  • You get along well with iMac, Excel, Word and other programs.
  • You have experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign is a requirement.

  • Hours: 40 hours per week (negotiable)
