Job: Product Developer & Buyer (full-time)

On July 1, 2017, Olivia & Kate opened its boutique doors for the first time in Haarlem's nicest street. Due to great success, our webshop followed within 3 months, www.olivia-kate.nl. Our webshop is now growing into one of the fastest growing webshops in the Netherlands. To keep up with our rapid growth, we are looking for a creative addition to our team. That is why we are immediately looking for a versatile and enthusiastic: Junior Product Developer & Buyer.

As a Product Developer & Buyer you support the development and purchasing of commercial, on-trend collections. You are involved in the entire process: from trend analysis and product development to supplier contact and quality control.

Are you creative, accurate and do you have a passion for fashion and styling? Would you like to participate in designing trendy collections for a young and growing fashion brand? Then we have the perfect position for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Spotting trends and translating them into commercial product ideas
  • Assisting in the compilation of collections
  • Thinking about sourcing and quality assurance
  • Support with fittings and processing production comments
  • Maintaining contact with (international) suppliers
  • Support with price negotiations and price positioning
  • Analyzing sales data and purchasing results
  • Assisting with the order process and monitoring delivery times
  • Carrying out quality checks during production

 Must have:

  • A completed MBO or HBO course in the field of fashion, purchasing or fashion management
  • At least 1 year of experience in purchasing or product development in the same industry

 Skills:

  • Affinity with women's fashion and a strong sense of trends and styling
  • Good command of the Dutch and English language
  • Independent, accurate, structured and hands-on
  • Experience with Excel; Experience with Adobe and Trello is an advantage

  • Location: Olivia & Kate Headquarters, Haarlem
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
