Job: Product Developer (full-time)

On July 1, 2017, Olivia & Kate opened its boutique doors for the first time in Haarlem's nicest street. Due to great success, our webshop followed within 3 months, www.olivia-kate.nl. Our webshop is now growing into one of the fastest growing webshops in the Netherlands. We are looking for a talented Product Developer to strengthen our creative team and help build our great future collections. Do you have a passion for fashion, a sharp eye for detail, and experience in product development? Then we are looking for you!

As a Product Developer you are responsible for the entire production process of our collections: from proto to final product. You will work closely with the design and purchasing team, suppliers and production partners to ensure that every item meets Olivia & Kate's high quality standards.

• Monitoring and executing designs from proto phase to completed production item
• Leading proto- and production fittings and following up on fit comments to suppliers
• Checking and approving substances and lab dips for production
• Working on multiple collections simultaneously
• Monitoring production processes and keeping deadlines
• Cost control and negotiating prices with suppliers
• Staying abreast of trends and translating them into commercial products suitable for Olivia & Kate
  

Must have:

• Completed higher professional education in Fashion/Textiles or a similar field
• At least 2 years of experience as a Product Developer within women's fashion
• Strong interest in trends, innovation and product quality
  

  Skills:

• Extensive knowledge of fit and product development (heavy-lightweight wovens, jersey, knitwear, denim, outerwear)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Structured working attitude and stress resistant
• Strong communication skills in Dutch and English
• Proactive, creative, flexible and an eye for detail

• Hours: 40 hours per week
